Volunteers sought for Forthcoming Committee Vacancies

 

The continuing success, and indeed very existence of the Institution, depends on the active support of its members. But more than that, it depends on the commitment and contribution of the officers who voluntarily run the Institution on our behalf. Without people willing to contribute to running the Institution there is a very real danger that it's continuation could be undermined.

 

Officers are elected on an annual basis at the Annual General Meeting. Having made a valued contribution, in advance of this year's AGM on 14 May 2022 a number of the existing officers have made it known they intend to step down in May 2022. 

 

If you feel you are interested and have the skills and commitment to keep the Institution running please consider putting yourself forward for one of the following roles which will become vacant:

 

Treasurer

manage the Institution's finances through it's bank account, presenting a monthly summary and compiling the annual accounts.

 

Assistant Secretary

support the Secretary in organising speakers, meetings and visits.

 

Newsletter Editor

edit, produce and distribute the Institution's newsletter

 

There are also a couple of vacancies on the Institution's council, which involves attending council meetings and contributing to the wider running of the institution.
